ABOUT
Zoë DePreta is an actor, comedian, and musician from Stamford, CT. She is an alumna of the Professional Training Company at Actors Theatre of Louisville and holds a BA in Theater and Creative Writing from Oberlin College.
Zoë considers music her first love, having played guitar since she was 7 years old and loves any opportunity to pick up a new string instrument. In 2021, she recorded 52 covers of songs across genres (mostly in her apartment) as a way to continue performing throughout the pandemic. She is half of the Chicago-based indie band Mozey.
A comedy and nonfiction writer, she is also a graduate of iO Chicago's improv program as well as Feminine Comique, and has performed stand-up comedy throughout Chicago.
Zoë is passionate about new play development, progressive politics, and climate change activism. In her free time, she enjoys biking and longboarding around Chicago, spending time in the great outdoors (specifically fishing and rock climbing), and giving death glares (pictured).
